Aman ki Asha - ?? Nothing concrete about it

Hi All

I was just wondering about the project AMAN KI ASHA which is an initiative from Times of India and Jang group of Pakistan.
The initiative brought together musicians from both sides to play and sing together, showing how music and poetry can break all boundaries and touch an inner space in people, a space that yearns for harmony rather than conflict.

There is also an Ad campaign which is showing INDO PAK Border playing Dumb Charades via binoculars. Requesting song of DDLJ on Indian radio. An idea of the ad is very innovative and bringing the anthem song in the end.

Question is : Are we ready for this collaboration and talk with Pakistan.

The way they handled Mumbai Attack and attitude towards Indian government regarding INDO PAK border or Kashmir Issue. I think We should not take any initiative.

But AMAN KI ASHA is good for music lover especially sufi music lover like me.
A great collection of music from various artists like Nusrat fateh Ali Khan , Rahat Fateh Ali , Gulzar , Shankar Mahadevan , Shubha Mudgal , Abida Parveen and others.

I think the initiative is creating a impact on INDO PAK People as they are taking this project an emotional moment. But In reality , INDO PAK relation and talks are more painful due to the government attitude and the way they are handling the issues related to INDO PAK.

Reality is much more different than its look.

INDO-PAK can be friend beside we can talk on issue more seriously , and not running away like Musharraf ji in Agra.

Stop being hypocrites and get real. We don't ask for enmity, but we don't need your so-called "friendship". Make a friend, amuse him, stab him behind the back, when he falls, go to him quick and wail over him "oh my friend has died, my friend has died"

Save Tiger !!

There is a huge campaign on SAVE TIGER. All are suggesting new ideas to save this precious species.
As a Indian, I have some ideas so that TIGER can be saved or increased.

We have 1411 tiger at this point of time. This is just a statistical figure.

* In the northeast (Assam) - 70
* Rajasthan - 32
* Madhya Pradesh (Kanha, Bandhavgarh and other national parks ) - 300
* Others

IDEA !! An IDEA can Save our TIGER

Take male tiger which are in good health.
Take female tiger (tigress) which are in good health.

We can increase the count by reproduction. A big survey is needed to ensure the health and productivity of tigress.
A proper environment is needed to reproduce the tiger with close observation of doctors and veterinarian.

Indian News Channel

Indian News Channels are in the new era.
If I try to figure out how many news channel in my DTH. I have to spend an hour to count the channels.
Hell lot of news channel are coming in and it is increasing day by day.

If you want to hear NEWS , Trust me you cant. You have to find a GOOD News Channel to watch NEWS.
Now Question is : WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF GOOD here?
According to me , GOOD means An Impressive presentation with some truthful and meaningful news.

Last night I was watching one movie : Its Breaking news - Its a story about a croupt police officer and A girl who is working in Media / Journalism
You will get to know a bit of media world but Journalism is a complete Business where a struggle is not to get right news but rather to 'generate' one with glamor and sensation.


Seriously speaking , If I want to watch something good - I always switch to NDTV and CNN/BBC Channels. If I want to laugh I usually switch to INDIA TV.
Watching a comedy show or INDIA TV is a same thing for me.

Every channel is looking for a news or creating a news so that they can show it. All are earning because of Ads so they don't bother whether they are showing some substantial or nonsense stuff. They are running the news because of Ads.

I want to give 15Rupees to Sansani Wala. Its been 7years and still he is not have money to cut his hairs and to shave his face. And 'CHAIN SE SONA HAI TO JAAG JAO' - Trivedi ji (Anchor) - Please learn some presentation from NDTV or CNN IBN.

You can compare the presentation of AAJTAK and NDTV. You will see the huge difference.
I don't know What is the meaning of Breaking News - ShahRukh Khan suffering from fever or Farmer committing sucide in Bihar or Orissa

Hi,

I am not a Big time blogger. I just want to express my views/feelings..
DELHI-I want to say something about Delhi , Saddi Delhi, Heart of the Nation - New Delhi.

Delhi is changing and it is changing for GOOD. There are many things which is proud to be a Delhities
My Home , DMRC - Metro , Papri Chat , My College , All Monuments , Nice Roads , Delhi Winters (Dilli ki sardi) , Common Wealth Games and list is endless.

Common Wealth Games - According to me , it is blessing in disguise - Because only because of CWG there is lot of Infrastructure development and there is a realization among people to set an example for World.

Last year 2008 , I was in UK / Singapore for my job. Trust me, I was missing Delhi each day of my stay in UK or Singapore. Singapore is the best place to live in and to work in but I was wondering why I was missing Delhi. During my stay in UK, I always had a dream of Delhi Roads/ Metro / Flyovers / Restaurants.

There is something about Delhi which is very Special.
I dont know what It is !! But Delhi Is Delhi.

ONE INSTANCE OF SINGAPORE
There is smart card for transportation whether METRO OR BUSES. I was boarding the bus and suddenly realized that my Credit in Smart card was nill.
"You have to pay by coins for a ticket in Singapore"
My face expression was read by one Aged Aunt. She bought a ticket for me because I was running out of coins. I tried my best to gave her 5 dollar note as she had paid 2 dollar for me.

My question : Can I find the Aged Aunt's heart in Delhities?

There was a millionaire who was bothered by severe eye pain.

He consulted so many physicians and was getting his treatment done. He did not stop consulting a galaxy of medical experts; he consumed heavy loads of drugs and underwent hundreds of injections.

But the ache persisted with greater vigour than before. At last a monk who was supposed to be an expert in treating such patients was called for by the millionaire.

The monk understood his problem and said that for sometime he should concentrate only on green colours and not to let his eyes fall on any other colours.

The millionaire got together a group of painters and purchased barrels of green color and directed that every object his eye was likely to see to be painted in green colour just as the monk had directed.

When the monk came to visit him after a few days, the millionaire' s servants ran with buckets of green paint and poured on him since he was in a red dress, lest their master see any other colour and make his eye ache again.

Hearing this the monk laughed and said "If only you had purchased a pair of green spectacles, worth just a few rupees, you could have saved these walls and trees and pots and all other articles and also could have saved a large share of his fortune.

You cannot paint the world green." Let us change our vision and the world will appear accordingly. It is foolish to shape the world, let us shape ourselves first
